Automated summary
Queries the Claude Mind unified event stream to surface recent activity across all surfaces (CLI, iMessage, wake cycles, webhooks, social media).
Strengths
- Straightforward filtering by surface (imessage, cli, wake, dream, webhook, x, bluesky, etc.) and by an hours-based time window
- Readable default output plus detailed JSON with --format json for downstream processing
- Dedicated stats command for aggregated counts instead of raw events
- Flags events already processed by the dream cycle and lets you include them with --include-distilled
Limitations
- Entirely dependent on the ~/.claude-mind/system/bin/stream binary; without that install the skill does nothing
- No full-text search or content filtering, only surface and hour-range filters
- Requires Bash access and a forked context, so it is not portable to other editors
Use it when the user asks what happened recently on a given surface (iMessage, CLI, wake cycles) or wants an overview of cross-surface activity.
Avoid it when Claude Mind is not installed, or when the user needs keyword search over history rather than a simple chronological sweep.
Security analysis
CautionAll commands are read-only queries against a local event store, with no piping to shells, no exfiltration, no destructive operations, and no obfuscation. The residual risk is that it shells out to an unauditable binary and pulls in highly sensitive personal communications and location data, which warrants a caution rating rather than safe. A reviewer should confirm the stream binary is a trusted local tool and that outputs stay on-device.
- •Invokes an opaque local binary at ~/.claude-mind/system/bin/stream whose behavior cannot be verified from the skill text
- •Queries personal/sensitive data surfaces (iMessage, email, calendar, location, social) — privacy exposure if output is surfaced broadly
- •Frontmatter declares allowed-tools Bash and Read, but the catalog metadata lists none — discrepancy weakens tool-scope review
- •Read-only queries only; no writes, no network calls, no deletion, no secret transmission observed
Examples
What did we talk about on iMessage today?Show me all recent activity from the last 6 hours across every surface.Give me the raw event data from the last 3 hours as JSON so I can pipe it into jq.name: stream description: Query the unified event stream for recent activity across all surfaces. Use when user asks about recent conversations, what happened on iMessage/CLI/wake cycles, or wants to see cross-surface activity. Trigger words: stream, recent activity, what happened, iMessage today, CLI earlier, recent conversations, cross-surface. context: fork allowed-tools:
- Bash

Unified Event Stream Query
This skill provides on-demand access to the unified event stream - all interactions across all surfaces (CLI, iMessage, wake cycles, webhooks, social media, etc.).
When to Use
- User asks "what happened on iMessage today?"
- User asks "what did we talk about in CLI earlier?"
- User wants to see recent cross-surface activity
- User asks "show me the stream" or "recent activity"
- You need detailed recall of specific surface interactions

Presenting Results
When presenting stream results to the user:
- Summarize the activity by surface
- Highlight key conversations or events
- Note the timeline
- Connect to current context if relevant

Check prerequisites
Read SKILL.md before using it. If it references scripts or external services, inspect them and prepare the required access in your test environment.
No recognized prerequisites section in this file. This does not mean it is self-contained: libraries, tools and access requirements may be mentioned elsewhere in the content or source repository.
The platforms on this page are catalog indications. The paths below follow tool documentation; they do not prove this skill has been run in those tools. No minimum tool version is confirmed for this listing.
3. Load the skill
This file does not provide a usable name/description header for this native procedure. It remains available to download and inspect; use the manual method below.
Manual method or another tool: attach SKILL.md to a conversation, or open it in an agent that can read files. Include any required supporting resources. No universal folder is recognized by every tool.
4. Try a first task
Use a short, synthetic input: an API endpoint, a small document or an interface brief. In a new conversation, attach the file or give the agent its path, then adapt this request:
Read .skill-downloads/event-stream-query-mrx3xxrk/SKILL.md and apply its instructions to this example: [describe a test input]. Identify any missing files, dependencies or access. Produce the result requested by the skill without inventing data or running unreviewed scripts.Expected result: output matching the skill instructions, or a precise list of missing prerequisites. A read confirmation alone does not validate a first use. If an external resource is unavailable, that path remains untested.
