Automated summary
This skill generates a top-down 2D architectural floor plan and then converts it into a photorealistic isometric 3D rendering using muapi commands.
Strengths
- Clear two-phase workflow with user approval of the 2D plan before 3D conversion
- Ready-made prompts for both the generation and the image-edit steps
- Accepts an existing floor plan image as a starting point, or creates one from a description
- Includes a curl fallback when a model has no CLI alias yet
Limitations
- Fully dependent on the external muapi service and a valid MUAPI_API_KEY
- No guarantee of architectural accuracy: the image model may reinterpret rooms and proportions
- Limited fine control over materials, lighting or layout beyond the supplied prompt
When you want a quick visual sense of how a described or sketched layout would look as a 3D interior scene.
When you need dimensionally accurate technical drawings or documents for permitting and construction.
Security analysis
CautionNo destructive, obfuscated, or exfiltrating behavior: all commands target the declared muapi service and the prompts are ordinary image-generation instructions. Risk is limited to normal agent execution of a CLI plus use of an API key in a curl header, which is legitimate but warrants 'caution' rather than 'safe'.
- •Instructs the executing agent to run shell/CLI commands (`muapi ...`) and a `curl` fallback against https://api.muapi.ai
- •Passes the secret `$MUAPI_API_KEY` in a request header; the endpoint is the vendor's own API, but the agent must handle a live credential
- •Falls back to arbitrary raw API endpoints via `curl -X POST https://api.muapi.ai/api/v1/<endpoint>`, which broadens what the agent may call beyond the named models
- •Requires `acceptLicenseTerms: true` and remote generation services, so user content/prompts leave the local machine

Floor Plan Rendering
Design a 2D floor plan and convert it into a realistic, high-quality 3D architectural rendering.
Inputs
| Name | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|:---|:---|:---|:---|:---|
| floor_plan_description | text | yes | — | Description of the floor plan (e.g. "a modern 2-bedroom apartment with a balcony and open kitchen"). |
| base_plan_image | image_url | no | — | Optional 2D floor plan image to use as a starting point. |
Steps
Phase A — 2D Floor Plan Design
If {{base_plan_image}} is not provided, submit the plan with ONE step to create the 2D blueprint:
- Floor Plan Generation —
muapi image generate(model=nano-banana-2):- Prompt:
A professional, clean 2D architectural floor plan of {{floor_plan_description}}. Top-down view, technical drawing style, white background, black lines, labeled rooms (Living Room, Kitchen, Bedroom, etc.), high contrast, minimalist design. - Aspect ratio: 4:3 or 1:1
- Prompt:
Present the 2D plan to the user for approval.
Phase B — 3D Rendering
Once the 2D plan is ready, submit the plan to convert it into a realistic 3D visualization:
- 3D Conversion —
muapi image edit(model=nano-banana-2-edit):- Reference Image: The 2D plan from Phase A.
- Prompt:
A stunning, realistic 3D isometric cutaway rendering of the architectural floor plan. Photorealistic textures, warm wooden flooring, modern furniture, soft natural sunlight coming from windows, realistic shadows. High-end architectural visualization, cinematic look, 8k resolution, clean white studio background. - Aspect ratio: 4:3 or 1:1
After generation, present the final 3D rendering to the user.
Trigger Keywords
3d floor plan, architectural rendering, 2d to 3d plan, house design, interior plan
Notes for the Executing Agent
- This recipe is LLM-orchestrated: read each phase, gather any missing inputs from the user, then call
muapiCLI commands. Usemuapi auth configurefirst ifMUAPI_API_KEYis unset. - For model IDs without a CLI alias yet, fall back to the raw endpoint via
curl -X POST https://api.muapi.ai/api/v1/<endpoint> -H "x-api-key: $MUAPI_API_KEY" -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{...}'and poll withmuapi predict wait <request_id>. - Substitute
{{input_name}}placeholders with the user's actual inputs before issuing each call.

1. Download the file
Download SKILL.mdFrom the root of a test project, save the file as .skill-downloads/floor-plan-rendering-mrwakg14/SKILL.md, or use the command below. This folder is for inspecting the skill before installation.
Command for macOS/Linux or WSL: requires a POSIX shell and curl. On Windows without WSL, use the download button and create the folder manually.
mkdir -p '.skill-downloads/floor-plan-rendering-mrwakg14' && curl --fail --show-error --location 'https://skills-guides.com/api/skills/floor-plan-rendering-mrwakg14/download' --output '.skill-downloads/floor-plan-rendering-mrwakg14/SKILL.md.part' && mv '.skill-downloads/floor-plan-rendering-mrwakg14/SKILL.md.part' '.skill-downloads/floor-plan-rendering-mrwakg14/SKILL.md'2. Check prerequisites
Read SKILL.md before using it. If it references scripts or external services, inspect them and prepare the required access in your test environment.
No recognized prerequisites section in this file. This does not mean it is self-contained: libraries, tools and access requirements may be mentioned elsewhere in the content or source repository.
The platforms on this page are catalog indications. The paths below follow tool documentation; they do not prove this skill has been run in those tools. No minimum tool version is confirmed for this listing.
3. Load the skill
After inspection, copy the complete folder into your project using one of the commands below, then open a new tool session. The command stops if a folder with the same name already exists: compare the files before replacing it.

OpenSkills must already be installed. The local install/read procedure is checked with OpenSkills 1.5.0, which requires Node.js ≥ 20.6.0. Catalog slugs are not resolved automatically.
Official OpenSkills installationopenskills install './.skill-downloads/floor-plan-rendering-mrwakg14'openskills read 'floor-plan-rendering-mrwakg14'Reading should display the installed file content and its base directory. It does not run the skill or install its dependencies.
For an agent that reads AGENTS.md, then sync the index. This command changes AGENTS.md: review the diff before using it.
openskills syncManual method or another tool: attach SKILL.md to a conversation, or open it in an agent that can read files. Include any required supporting resources. No universal folder is recognized by every tool.
4. Try a first task
Use a short, synthetic input: an API endpoint, a small document or an interface brief. In a new conversation, attach the file or give the agent its path, then adapt this request:
Read .skill-downloads/floor-plan-rendering-mrwakg14/SKILL.md and apply its instructions to this example: [describe a test input]. Identify any missing files, dependencies or access. Produce the result requested by the skill without inventing data or running unreviewed scripts.Expected result: output matching the skill instructions, or a precise list of missing prerequisites. A read confirmation alone does not validate a first use. If an external resource is unavailable, that path remains untested.
