Automated summary
This skill covers generating and retrieving videos through Kling's official hosted MCP connector in Claude, including the ten-second AIR sonic film.
Strengths
- Sets clear authentication boundaries, forbidding token extraction, credential printing, commits, or sending API keys to the endpoint
- Prescribes a careful generation flow: submit each task once, poll no faster than every 15 seconds, never resubmit after an ambiguous timeout
- Requires verifying the actual output — playback, duration, framing, audio — instead of trusting a successful submission
- Separates identity/tool discovery from paid generation and explicitly rules out third-party wrappers or fallback providers
Limitations
- Fully dependent on Kling's hosted MCP connector being available and an authenticated ACT account
- Heavily tied to the ACT project (AIR film brief, SVG compositing, no music or voiceover), so it is not directly reusable elsewhere
- Offers no recovery path beyond asking the user to enable and authenticate the connector if the tools are missing
Use it when you need to submit, monitor, or retrieve a Kling video generation through the official MCP connector in Claude Code.
Avoid it for ordinary website edits or when no authenticated ACT Kling account is available.
Security analysis
SafeThe skill is purely instructional: it directs an agent to use an official hosted MCP connector, authenticate via browser OAuth, and explicitly warns against extracting browser tokens, printing or committing credentials, or sending Open API keys to the endpoint. There are no destructive commands, no curl|sh pipelines, no obfuscated payloads, no attempts to disable safety controls, and no embedded instructions aimed at the auditor. The only notable capability is outbound network access to kling.ai/mcp, which is the stated legitimate purpose, so the skill warrants no elevated risk rating.
- •Uses an external hosted MCP endpoint (https://kling.ai/mcp) with browser OAuth; this is legitimate but depends on trust in the Kling provider and on Claude's credential storage.
- •Skill text explicitly forbids extracting browser tokens, printing/committing credentials, and sending Open API keys to the endpoint — a positive safety signal rather than a concern.
- •No tools are declared and no destructive, obfuscated, or exfiltration-style commands (curl|sh, rm -rf, base64 payloads, safety-disabling) appear in the content.
Examples
Check which Kling tools and credits are available through the MCP connector, and confirm which account is connected before we generate anything.Read the ten-second AIR film brief and submit the Kling generation with the confirmed aspect ratio, duration and reference roles; then poll the task and verify the returned video plays correctly.Query the Kling generation ID from earlier and tell me whether it succeeded, failed, or is still pending, then download the output if it succeeded.name: kling-video description: Generate and retrieve ACT video assets through Kling's official hosted MCP connector in Claude, including the ten-second AIR sonic film. Use for Kling setup, authenticated discovery, video generation and task status; not ordinary website edits.
Kling Video
Use Kling's official international MCP server at https://kling.ai/mcp, declared
in the repo's .mcp.json. No third-party wrapper or bespoke API client is used.
Read the Kling section of the root README for Claude Code and custom-connector
setup. A shared config alone does not mean a Claude account is connected.
Authentication
Complete the connector's browser OAuth flow with the ACT Kling account. Claude stores credentials outside this repo. Never extract browser tokens, print credentials, commit them, or send Open API access/secret keys to this endpoint. If tools are not available, have the user enable and authenticate the connector; do not fall back to a different provider or a direct API wrapper.
Generation
- Discover the connected identity, credits, exposed tools and model parameters. Confirm the ACT account and distinguish discovery from a paid generation.
- Use the current tool schemas rather than assuming model IDs or parameters. Run the README's single short text-to-video connectivity test only after authentication, and only when the user requests a test or generation.
- For the AIR film, read the ten-second brief. Confirm aspect ratio, duration, sound, and reference roles before submission.
- Submit each approved task once. Retain its generation ID and query the same task no faster than every 15 seconds. Never resubmit after an ambiguous timeout. Stop on success or failure; report pending work after ten minutes.
- Retrieve the output and verify actual playback, duration, framing and audio. Do not claim success based only on submission or unauthenticated reachability.
Composite the supplied AIR SVG during finishing to preserve its exact proportions
and typography. No music or voiceover for the AIR film. Keep review assets out of
public/; website placement and publication require the user's request.

1. Download the file
Download SKILL.mdFrom the root of a test project, save the file as .skill-downloads/kling-video-generation-via-mcp-mveraone/SKILL.md, or use the command below. This folder is for inspecting the skill before installation.
Command for macOS/Linux or WSL: requires a POSIX shell and curl. On Windows without WSL, use the download button and create the folder manually.
mkdir -p '.skill-downloads/kling-video-generation-via-mcp-mveraone' && curl --fail --show-error --location 'https://skills-guides.com/api/skills/kling-video-generation-via-mcp-mveraone/download' --output '.skill-downloads/kling-video-generation-via-mcp-mveraone/SKILL.md.part' && mv '.skill-downloads/kling-video-generation-via-mcp-mveraone/SKILL.md.part' '.skill-downloads/kling-video-generation-via-mcp-mveraone/SKILL.md'2. Check prerequisites
Read SKILL.md before using it. If it references scripts or external services, inspect them and prepare the required access in your test environment.
No recognized prerequisites section in this file. This does not mean it is self-contained: libraries, tools and access requirements may be mentioned elsewhere in the content or source repository.
The platforms on this page are catalog indications. The paths below follow tool documentation; they do not prove this skill has been run in those tools. No minimum tool version is confirmed for this listing.
3. Load the skill
After inspection, copy the complete folder into your project using one of the commands below, then open a new tool session. The command stops if a folder with the same name already exists: compare the files before replacing it.
Claude Code
test -f '.skill-downloads/kling-video-generation-via-mcp-mveraone/SKILL.md' && test -s '.skill-downloads/kling-video-generation-via-mcp-mveraone/SKILL.md' && mkdir -p '.claude/skills' && test ! -e '.claude/skills/kling-video' && cp -R '.skill-downloads/kling-video-generation-via-mcp-mveraone' '.claude/skills/kling-video'OpenSkills
OpenSkills must already be installed. The local install/read procedure is checked with OpenSkills 1.5.0, which requires Node.js ≥ 20.6.0. Catalog slugs are not resolved automatically.
Official OpenSkills installationopenskills install './.skill-downloads/kling-video-generation-via-mcp-mveraone'openskills read 'kling-video-generation-via-mcp-mveraone'Reading should display the installed file content and its base directory. It does not run the skill or install its dependencies.
For an agent that reads AGENTS.md, then sync the index. This command changes AGENTS.md: review the diff before using it.
openskills syncManual method or another tool: attach SKILL.md to a conversation, or open it in an agent that can read files. Include any required supporting resources. No universal folder is recognized by every tool.
4. Try a first task
Use a short, synthetic input: an API endpoint, a small document or an interface brief. In a new conversation, attach the file or give the agent its path, then adapt this request:
Read .skill-downloads/kling-video-generation-via-mcp-mveraone/SKILL.md and apply its instructions to this example: [describe a test input]. Identify any missing files, dependencies or access. Produce the result requested by the skill without inventing data or running unreviewed scripts.Expected result: output matching the skill instructions, or a precise list of missing prerequisites. A read confirmation alone does not validate a first use. If an external resource is unavailable, that path remains untested.
