Automated summary
Drafts and opens a GitHub pull request from the current branch's changes, using git history plus a description template, with a preview and confirmation before pushing.
Strengths
- Resolves the base branch (CLAUDE.md, then origin/HEAD, falling back to main) and aborts if you are already on it
- Produces a structured PR body (background, what was implemented, design trade-offs, performance numbers) rather than dumping a diff
- Optionally links an issue with "Closes #N" so GitHub closes it and wires it into the project board on merge
- Shows the title, body, and base ← head comparison for approval, and rewrites on request
Limitations
- Assumes a GitHub repo with the gh CLI installed and authenticated, and a remote named origin
- Title conventions (type: Korean summary) and the PR template are opinionated and written in Korean
- Halts when there are uncommitted changes, requiring /commit to be run first
Use it when a branch is ready and you want a well-documented GitHub PR opened without writing the description by hand.
Skip it if your work is not committed yet, gh is not set up, or the repository lives on GitLab or Bitbucket.
Security analysis
CautionNo destructive, obfuscated, or exfiltration behavior is instructed; the workflow is a standard git/gh PR creation flow with a preview/approval step. However, it grants push and PR-edit capabilities and interpolates user/model-controlled strings into shell commands, so it merits caution rather than safe.
- •Declares broad Bash permissions for git push, gh pr create, and gh pr edit; these can modify remote branches/PRs and would also allow force-push or arbitrary PR edits if the agent deviates from the procedure.
- •Shell placeholders such as {current_branch}, {title}, and {body} are inserted into commands without explicit quoting/escaping guidance; AI-generated PR titles/bodies or user-supplied issue numbers containing quotes or shell metacharacters could break the command or cause unintended shell expansion.
- •The skill reads git diff and may read changed files into the model context; this is normal for PR drafting but can expose sensitive repository content to the LLM, with no exfiltration instructions present.
Examples
/pr 42/prPR 만들어줘name: pr description: Commit, push, and open a PR. Use when the user asks to create a PR (e.g. "PR 만들어줘", "PR 생성해줘", "풀리퀘 올려줘"). argument-hint: "[issue-number]" allowed-tools: Bash(git status:), Bash(git diff:), Bash(git log:), Bash(git branch:), Bash(git push:), Bash(gh pr create:), Bash(gh pr edit:*)
PR Creation Skill
Input
$ARGUMENTS
Format: <issue-number> (optional)
Examples:
Current Git Context
Current git status: !git status Current git diff (staged and unstaged changes): !git diff HEAD Current branch: !git branch --show-current Recent commits since branching: !git log --oneline origin/HEAD..HEAD
Base Branch Detection
Determine the base branch using this priority:
- If the project CLAUDE.md specifies a main/base branch, use that
- Try
git symbolic-ref refs/remotes/origin/HEAD 2>/dev/null | sed 's|refs/remotes/origin/||' - Default:
main
Pre-checks
- Verify current branch is NOT the base branch — if on base branch, warn and abort
- Check for uncommitted changes — if any, warn the user to run
/commitfirst
PR Template
.github/PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE.md 를 기반으로 아래 항목을 채워 PR body를 작성한다.
## Background
{이 PR의 배경. 어떤 Phase인지, 무엇을 목표로 했는지. 1~3줄.}
Closes #{issue-number} ← issue-number
{무엇을 구현했는지. 핵심 변경 사항을 번호 목록으로.}

Procedure
Step 1: Analyze
Step 2: Preview & confirm
- PR body
{base_branch}←{current_branch}
Step 3: Push & create PR
git push -u origin {current_branch}
gh pr create --base {base_branch} --title "{title}" --body "{body}"
Step 4: Report
- PR URL
- base ← head 브랜치명

View the source and supporting filesThis download contains SKILL.md only. Any scripts, references, templates and dependencies are not included. Get the required files from the source, preserving their directory structure, before continuing.
1. Download the file
Download SKILL.mdFrom the root of a test project, save the file as .skill-downloads/pr-creation-mrwak8mo/SKILL.md, or use the command below. This folder is for inspecting the skill before installation.
Command for macOS/Linux or WSL: requires a POSIX shell and curl. On Windows without WSL, use the download button and create the folder manually.
mkdir -p '.skill-downloads/pr-creation-mrwak8mo' && curl --fail --show-error --location 'https://skills-guides.com/api/skills/pr-creation-mrwak8mo/download' --output '.skill-downloads/pr-creation-mrwak8mo/SKILL.md.part' && mv '.skill-downloads/pr-creation-mrwak8mo/SKILL.md.part' '.skill-downloads/pr-creation-mrwak8mo/SKILL.md'2. Check prerequisites
Read SKILL.md before using it. If it references scripts or external services, inspect them and prepare the required access in your test environment.
Tools declared by the author (check availability in your agent): Bash(git status:*), Bash(git diff:*), Bash(git log:*), Bash(git branch:*), Bash(git push:*), Bash(gh pr create:*), Bash(gh pr edit:*)
No recognized prerequisites section in this file. This does not mean it is self-contained: libraries, tools and access requirements may be mentioned elsewhere in the content or source repository.
The platforms on this page are catalog indications. The paths below follow tool documentation; they do not prove this skill has been run in those tools. No minimum tool version is confirmed for this listing.
3. Load the skill
After inspection, copy the complete folder into your project using one of the commands below, then open a new tool session. The command stops if a folder with the same name already exists: compare the files before replacing it.
Claude Code
test -f '.skill-downloads/pr-creation-mrwak8mo/SKILL.md' && test -s '.skill-downloads/pr-creation-mrwak8mo/SKILL.md' && mkdir -p '.claude/skills' && test ! -e '.claude/skills/pr' && cp -R '.skill-downloads/pr-creation-mrwak8mo' '.claude/skills/pr'OpenSkills
OpenSkills must already be installed. The local install/read procedure is checked with OpenSkills 1.5.0, which requires Node.js ≥ 20.6.0. Catalog slugs are not resolved automatically.
Official OpenSkills installationopenskills install './.skill-downloads/pr-creation-mrwak8mo'openskills read 'pr-creation-mrwak8mo'Reading should display the installed file content and its base directory. It does not run the skill or install its dependencies.
For an agent that reads AGENTS.md, then sync the index. This command changes AGENTS.md: review the diff before using it.
openskills syncManual method or another tool: attach SKILL.md to a conversation, or open it in an agent that can read files. Include any required supporting resources. No universal folder is recognized by every tool.
4. Try a first task
Use a short, synthetic input: an API endpoint, a small document or an interface brief. In a new conversation, attach the file or give the agent its path, then adapt this request:
Read .skill-downloads/pr-creation-mrwak8mo/SKILL.md and apply its instructions to this example: [describe a test input]. Identify any missing files, dependencies or access. Produce the result requested by the skill without inventing data or running unreviewed scripts.Expected result: output matching the skill instructions, or a precise list of missing prerequisites. A read confirmation alone does not validate a first use. If an external resource is unavailable, that path remains untested.
